Flight of the Concords? Pushing Daisies? Neither one should be on that list. Not that those shows are bad, but not in same league as the others.

Two and a Half Men or Family GuyTudors or House
Those are my pics. Absolutely agree with the Seriously? remark on Grey's. That series was sub-par this year. Like a smart Katherine Heigle, the whole show should bow out of the Emmy race right now. I may respect the show more if they did. Right now, I'm not even sure it's staying on my schedule for next year. There are too many other ground breaking shows out there to waste time on a has been.

Family Guy or 30 Rock.
Tina Fey, in my opinion, is one of the sexiest and smartest women out there.

Dexter and the Wire are two of the best shows of all time, but neither of them will win, so whatever.

it will be quite criminal if weeds did not win this time around.I don't know what show could win in the other section. the only one I ever pay attention to of those is lost, so I'm relatively lost when it comes to that category. If weeds does not win, we can't assume much in this planet of ambivalent comprehension

The Wire should really make the final list, and not Grey's Anatomy. The Wire actually is smartly written, and talks about the real problems of todays society. Its been shut out all these years and now in its last year, its time to show it the love it deserves.

I think The Wire is golden this year. Besides, the Emmys have a history of going crazy for HBO shows when it is their final season (Sopranos last year and SJP/Cynthia Nixon for the last season of SATC). I'm thinking Dexter and Mad Men will definitely be in there this year too. For the last two slots...I would really like to see Damages make the cut. I thought it had a truly excellent first season (and while I would love FNL to get the recognition it deserves, the first season was just way better...so for the final slot I think Lost is quite deserving this year). So there's my guesses for the Dramas!

Comedy: Ugly Betty, The Office, 30 Rock, Entourage, & Weeds. Ugly Betty will win.
Drama: Dexter, The Tudors, Boston Legal, House, & Lost. The Tudors will win.
That's what I think.

Thank god Grey's Anatomy didn't make it to the final 5...this season was boring, bad written and awful compared to the three others...I think that she deserved all the nominations to the emmys last year, because season 3 was astonishing, but the 4th...naaaaa Though, the last episode gave me hope...I cheer for Pushing Daisies, or 30 rockI want Mad Men to win...it's a show fresh, classy and interesting, really impressive job

I can't believe you're all picking Family Guy. Do you really think that's the best comedy on TV right now? Surely you must be retarded. That show doesn't even deserve to be nominated. When you watch Family Guy you can tell that the people creating it are truly stupid people, and that they seem to think they're very, very smart because they act like everyone else is so stupid. And by the way, to all of you who think the best shows need awards, wise up, because award shows don't mean shit as far as true accomplishment in your chosen art form.
