Chloe Stays! Green Arrow Returns?

Smallville and Chloe fans can breathe now.

Allison Mack will be returning to Smallville next season as a series regular. She will be appearing in all of the episodes.

Also, there is a distinct possibility that Justin Hartley will also be returning to the program as the Green Arrow.

Great news, right?

Good! Green Arrow is sooo fine!! I was hoping he could become a series regularThey should think of making Justin Hartley's own show as the green arrow.

I am so glad Chloe is back, and Justin too. This way, he can meet up with Lois, they made a perfect couple....

I'm glad chloe is returning cuz with everyone else leaving i dont know how they would continue without a character that played such an important role as her......and Green Arrow it pretty awesome but i hope him and lois dont get together, i'd rather see romance between lois and clark like the superman we all know from past shows

Great, i was worried smallville waould really go downhill and end on a low point. But all is looking good now. I agree with mrsice, a green arrow show would be good with his team and maybe clark kent in a few eposodes aswell.

its good to see the show going great and its sad for the characters leaving, like Lana and Lex, and who ever else, the show has so much to become, and I'm glad they just going and going...i think its cool that the green arrow aka oliver is back in and going to stay in the show for some time, lets see if Clark and him work good together instead of arguing and controlling.

glad green arrows coming back, but it'll get boring real quick if the whole 'will they, wont they'' issue drags on with him and lois.could be some good storylines with him and clark though. looks like season 8 wont be such a terrible season, as alot of people had already deemed it would be

I hate to see Clark Kent losing the love of his life, Lana gone. Its sad to see him cried when he watched Lana's video saying goodbye. lets bring Lana back for Clark's sake!! I like Lana, she is doing so well, a bit wimpy but it is her characters. or else, who is Clark going to be with? Lois is with Green Arrow, they are a perfect couple. Jimmy proposed to Chloe and living Clark on his own to save the world?please vote for Lana's return!!

I fully agree with you reeda, I have missed Lana since her departure. What a disappointment not to see her in person in Artic. I feel her absence and I keep on thinking of the recurrent phrase throughout the last 7 years, that Clark and Lana were meant to be together. After all, this is fiction, they deserve a happy ending, besides there is such affinity between these two characters. Whereas Oliver, such a handsome, refined and humourous Robin Hood is, in my opinion, a perfect match for spontaneous and goodnatured Lois.

You know what?, I think they made a mistake when they casted Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, she should be playing Lois Lane. We don't think that Erica Durance is the right one playing Lois Lane, and to think that she will play the future love interest of superman, Hmmm, we think there's no magic between Tom (Clark) and Erica (Lois). Me and my friends were deeply disappointed when we heard that Lana is leaving. We think Smallville would never be the same without Lana.

I think everyone is forgeting the essential of the show! It tells the story of Superman before Superman. Lex HAS to come back somehow and Lois has to end up with Clark. That's the legend and that's the story. No Lana. No Chloe. Just Lois and the nemesis Lex. What I would love to know is how are they gonna twist the story so they appear again. Don't you agree??

lex has to be back! he's the EVIL, there's no smallville without him, and he's an awesome actor. Justin Hartley comin back is great, hope he's a regular. I want Clark and Oliver to team up and some chemistry between Lois and Clark sometime. Cant wait for season 8, does anyone know the air date?

Smallville without Lex will be very different. Already part of the thrill has gone with Lana´s departure. I agree, she should be Lois Lane. I don´t think it is that easy to create chemistry between two characters. Just like I find difficult to believe Chloe´s love for Jimmy. They are nice together but there is no ´spark´ on Allison´s part.

I honestly have to say that I never liked the character of Lana and that just right from the beginning even though I think Kristin Kreuk did a great job... It's kind of sad that she's gone but I only think I'm saying this now because I got used to her ;) but I do like Lois Lane, on Smallville and in the Superman story :)) And somehow there always has been a little tension between Lois and Clark ;)But what I cannot accept is Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) leaving, that's a shock and will make Smallville worst ever... Season final was absolutely great but I am so unhappy thinking of a bad season 8 to come... I don't want Lex to go, I mean, the evil guy has to stay... I don't like Brianiac, he is too evil (of course he isn't dead, can't really kill him and he's on Superman...) but I loved Lex as the evil guy because there always was some kind of humanity in him... his character developped due to all the things that happened to him and they just made him bad and addicted to what he became... he's maniac... and a really great "evil" one because there still is some logic in his behaviour... Braniac is a machine, don't like him, there's no suspense, he's just evil, there never was anything good about him and the good that was about Lex, makes him such a tragic evil one, just fantastic... Show will be crap without him... Michael Rosenbaum is a really great actor, all my respect to him how he developped this getting sick minded character...

o.O A few things. I must say that i've always hated Lana, from the very beginning. I'm glad she's gone and hope she stays gone. I still remember what began to make me dislike her: When she tries to play pity party and has the audacity to say she's not special. You have no room to gain sympathy and be the victim when your the most popular girl in school, head cheerleader, a champion horse rider, and the girl every guy wants to date.
As for Lois, love her and love the woman playing her. I dont understand the thoughts of her not having chemistry with Clark. They have great chemistry and from the first episode she appeared, she envisioned the Lois Lane greatly portrayed by Margerat Kitter from the movies. Perfect.
On other notes, i'm upset that Michael Rosenbaum wont be returning. It does say as a 'regular' though and the same for Supergirl (Boo on her not coming back too! >() Does this mean that they will still play the part but just be in less episodes? I can't see them getting someone else to play Lex (or Supergirl). It would just be .. wrong, bleah, crappy. As for the rumor of a returning character, could Martha be making a homecoming? ^.^ (cheers if so)
One other thing i'd like to share on smallville. I didn't expect to get hooked on the show, but while it keeps it's own original spin, unlike any other TV show based on comics (and most movies, for that matter), it pays homage to the original movies and comic's. For that, I can do nothing but thank the writers of the Series. From the first season with Clarks 'Fortress of Solitude' comment about his loft to Lois's mild-mannered reporter comment, among all the ones in between, those are probably what kept me intrested in the show that much.
:) It's late, all I can think of to share. Here's to hoping Season 8 doesn't go in the crapper.. and if 8 is the final one, they better give us the one thing all Smallville fans want. End it with Tom Welling doning the suit.

I'm really glad they're bringing Justin back I mean he plays the role of Green Arrow to the "point".^_^ But about everyone leaving, I hate it. Well it's good Lana's gone but Lex, now c'mon everyone knows that Micheal plays the best Lex Luthor and honestly I might just watch the show less because he's not in it.....Damn gonna miss your sick demented and twisted ass....~_~

if i didn't had to think about the the conection smallville-superman i would make Clark and Chloe to end together. She was allways his best friend. But Clark already has a future story and things must follow that future (or not)for this motive Lex needs to forget about Clark identity and create a distance from him so he have to go, and Lana is not in his future either so she has to go tooand if you think about the Lois from the first movie of superman you will see that this Lois is very close in atitude.but the story is so messed up that i think that they could create an alternative reality of superman and do ererything they want... why not?
