Natasha Leggero has been on the comedy scene for a while, but she got a big prime-time introduction on the season premiere of "Last Comic Standing."
After taking last year off, "LCS" returned to NBC Monday (June 7) with a new host in Craig Robinson and a new set of judges: Leggero, Greg Giraldo and Andy Kindler. The two-hour premiere covered the Los Angeles auditions, and Leggero -- who's arguably the least well-known of the three judges -- held her own with her male counterparts.
We first caught sight of Leggero on the late, great "Joe Schmo Show," Spike TV's fake reality show; she played Rita (the Drunk) in the first season. Her acting credits also include "Reno 911!," "He's Just Not That Into You," "'Til Death" and voice work on "Ugly Americans." She's also a regular panelist on "Chelsea Lately" and has made several "Tonight Show" appearances.
You can follow Leggero on Twitter and become a fan of hers on Facebook. And in the clip below you can listen to her talk about the many, many places she's done stand-up -- including a laundromat and a Narcotics Anonymous meeting -- and why it's important to perform as much as possible.
