Kyle Bornheimer Replacing Kyle Howard in NBC's 'Perfect Couples'

It's a Kyle for a Kyle: 'Worst Week' star Kyle Bornheimer, last seen in the short-lived Alyssa Milano ABC flop 'Romantically Challenged,' has replaced 'My Boys' star Kyle Howard in NBC's midseason comedy 'Perfect Couples.'

Deadline reports that Bornheimer, who also guest starred in the second season premiere of USA's 'Royal Pains' last month, took over for Howard, who was cast in second position pending the future of 'My Boys.' The TBS comedy kicks off its fourth season on July 25, but hasn't been renewed yet for a fifth season.

Bornheimer's role in 'Perfect Couples': Dave, the stable, married man amongst his group of couple friends. He's married to Julia ('FlashForward' star Christine Woods), who's often frustrated by his relationship with his needy BFF Vance ('Quarterlife' and '100 Questions' star David Walton). Vance is dating Amy ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's' Mary Elizabeth Ellis), with whom he shares a volatile, sexually-charged relationship, while the third couple is Rex ('Worst Week's' Hayes MacArthur) and Leigh ('Attack of the Show!' star Olivia Munn), an uptight pair who think they have the perfect relationship.

Bornheimer, meanwhile, has been a frequent primetime presence for the last few years, as the networks have groomed him as a breakout star. His resume includes appearances on everything from 'Weeds,' 'Will & Grace' and 'Breaking Bad' to 'Chuck,' 'Party Down' and 'How I Met Your Mother.'
