Shooting Schedule and Location of J.J. Abrams' Sci-Fi 'Super 8' Revealed


J.J. Abrams' super secret project "Super 8" is going to roll the camera in late September, Production Weekly has learned. The shooting is said located in Weirton, West Virginia with the scenes mainly taken on the town's Main Street.


Moreover, The Associated Press [via Charleston Daily Mail] reports that the production is scheduled to last two to three months. The project, which is disguised with fake title "Darlings", revolves around a 14-year-old boy and is set in a steel town in 1979. For the filming, crew have been looking for vintage props, including old cars, sources reveal.
