Being the media's target these days has caused Jon Gosselin to take a break, as he recently returned to Wernersville, PA to care for his kids. The Jon & Kate plus 8 dad resumed his parenting duties around noon, welcomed by his eldest twins.
Upon stepping onto their yard, Jon Gosselin was greeted by the 8-year-old Mady and Kara, who squealed with glee when they saw their dad. His other daughters were being watched by a nanny in their backyard.
The glamour that this week brought him seems to have died down for now, because there were chores awaiting Jon Gosselin. According to People, he was seen taking his car to a mechanic and heading to a UPS store. He later took care of business at a bank before driving back home to smoke outside the house.
Jon Gosselin looked very pleased to be back in Pennsylvania with the kids. Earlier this week, he admitted to looking forward to seeing them again and being a dad once more. Hopefully he remains true to his words.
While Jon is laying low from his confusing romances, Kate Gosselin is reportedly scouting for a new place to stay. Radar Online has learned that she'll be moving to Maryland soon. The Jon and Kate Plus 8 matriarch has been planning on purchasing a condo in Rockville, pegged as the wealthy part of Montgomery County.
Another reason why she's chosen that location is the distance to her bodyguard, Steve Neild. The man's office is apparently a block away from Kate's new home, which means it'll be easier to ward off the paparazzi. Even so, they're busy tailing the reality TV Romeo Jon Gosselin these days, so she has little to worry about.
As for the fate of their show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, the hiatus is almost over. TLC confirms that new episodes of their hit series will air on August 3. Even though we'll be waiting for the results of its return, there's no doubt it'll earn even higher ratings now that the couple is this month's media frenzy.
