Tragic Storylines Abound

Last November, we reported that Big Love will be losing some of its cast members as the polygamy-themed series heads further into the third season. The scoop came form Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, who said that the Grim Reaper has been elevated to a series regular and that there will be at least two significant deaths this season, one of which is so top secret only a handful of people were allowed to witness it.

"The scene wasn't on the call sheet and it was shot with minimal crew," the insider said. "But it wasn't too hard to figure out what was going on. The screaming was painful."

There are no spoilers in this article especially since Ausiello didn't reveal any names. Most recently, however, he released an update that one of the deaths would involve a supporting player who will Å“bite the dust in the March bloodbath. He also gave a rundown of the odds of the possible characters who would meet their maker.

Topping the list is Bill's father, Frank Harlow (Bruce Dern). Frank has been married to Bill's mother, Lois, for over 40 years but the two share an extremely strained relationship and has been taking turns to do away with one another. Sooner or later, the Juniper Creek compound will no longer be big enough for the both of them.

Then there's Nicki (Chloe Sevigny), Bill's second wife who went into great lengths on her father's behalf. And once Bill and her sister wives find out about this, then it's all over for Nicki.

Sarah (Amanda Seyfried) is also a possible contender that might get caught in the crossfire of the Henricksons as all hell breaks loose. Moreover, the big screen is summoning Seyfried following her hit movie following Mama Mia. In fact, she is currently filming several projects such as Boogie Woogie, Dear John, Jennifer's Body, Chloe and A Woman of No Importance. It's only a matter of time before she bids farewell to the small screen.

Meanwhile, these are just a few of the possible characters who might exit Big Love. Who do you think it's gonna be?

Gees, if this be the case, please don't let it be anyone in the Hendrickson household. None of them are perfect. They try their best to do what's best for all with what they have. Nicki though, is caught between the Compound of family guilt, love, and trust for leaving, and her love to protect her family and sisterwives from the Compound. Better to see her in therapy, than be killed off! I fear the family will tragically lose something more without her.
