Talk about extending your stay as one of The Girls Next Door. The 35-year-old Bridget Marquardt was spotted back in the Playboy Mansion over the weekend, getting cozy with Hugh Hefner and returning to her roots. She didn't even mind partying with the guy's new girlfriends, who were also present at the time.
Bridget Marquardt attended Playboy's annual Midsummer Night's Dream party, which was hosted by Crystal Harris. There were a number of celebrity guests around, but this Girls Next Door star hung around Hef's notorious Shannon twins.
Still, it sounds like Bridget Marquardt is all ready to steal their spotlight. She already has this show with the Travel Channel, known as Bridget's Sexiest Beaches. But she's planning on taking a leaf out of co-star Kendra Wilkinson's book. That's right, she wants her own show with her current romance - Nick Carpenter.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Bridget Marquardt discussed reality shows in general and even shared her thoughts on doing a series like E!'s Kendra. The ideas began when E! News asked her to comment on the controversies involving the stars of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8.
Marquardt couldn't help but point out how difficult it must be for the relationship to unfold on television. However, she believes that their show wasn't the sole reason for the divorce.
"I think [reality TV] definitely is a stress-factor in a relationship, but I don't think it breaks it up," Bridget explained. "I think there have to be underlying problems."
Despite the added pressure of being in the public eye though, the Girls Next Door celebrity said she'd like to put her own love life on TV. It's not like she hasn't done it before with Hugh Hefner, so it won't be much of a surprise.
"We've talked about the possibility of doing a spin-off show similar to what Kendra [Wilkinson] is doing," the Playboy model announced. "We'll see."
The question now is, will she get actor/producer Nick Carpenter to agree?
