'The Vampire Diaries': A Darker Truth Part 2

There is a huge reason why it's called "The Vampire Diaries". The second webseries of the new CW show reveals Jason crashing into Stefan Salvatore's house during the day and setting up traps like the cross, garlic and holy water all over the place. It wasn't long before he discovers that Stefan has kept a bookcase full of diaries to chronicle his hundred years of life.

"A Darker Truth Part 2" is the continuation of the first one where Jason documents a tragedy that happened in his hometown. It turned out that his sister Joanne had been a neighbor to Stefan for sometime before she was found dead in a nasty way. Jason believes that Stefan is the killer and goes on a hunt to stop him from murdering the others.

Based on a book series by L.J. Smith, "The Vampire Diaries" tells the love story between Stefan and a human girl with traumatic past, Elena Gilbert. They met at school and instantly become attracted to one another. However, not long after his arrival, Stefan discovers someone has been attacking the people of Mystic Falls. Afraid that he knows who's behind it, Stefan returns home and finds his evil brother Damon.

Starring Paul Wesley as Stefan, Nina Dobrev as Elena and Ian Somerhalder as Damon, "The Vampire Diaries" is premiering on September 10. The webisodes are detached from the main series and are released for promotional purpose only.

Will Night World Series by L.J. Smith be coming out as a TV series as well?
It only seems natural to bring that out since it is connected to the Vampire Diaries & tells the stories of the entire hidden Night World with Vampires, Weres, Witches & more.
Does anyone know if this will happen in the near future?
