The Hills' upcoming fifth season may be it for the Cali cuties. And Heidi Montag.
Rumors abound (and it wouldn't be too surprising) that the "reality" show that has become one of TV's guilty pleasure will end its run after next season.
But popularity is slowly declining, and a senior MTV source told The Sun, I think everyone, including Lauren Conrad, wants to get on with their lives.
Conrad, 22, who has made millions out of having her every move followed as she tries to make it in fashion, admitted last year that interest is waning:
''Every season, I think it's the last. I go through phases when I've been filming where I wake up in the middle of the night and I think I'm being filmed."
That's when I have to take a vacation.
Perhaps a permanent one is in order soon. Sad as it would be for LC's fans, such a move would grant her more time to spend with boyfriend Kyle Howard, who can't appear on the show, and focus on her other career opportunities.
