Danny Boyle's 127 HOURS to Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival


After my initial worry that Danny Boyle's 127 Hours would somehow skip the festival circuit despite a potential awards run, it looks like my fears were unfounded. Screen Daily [via The Playlist] confirms an earlier rumor that 127 Hours, which stars James Franco as real-life moutaineer Aron Ralston, will make its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from September 9 - 19th. The film will also play at the closing gala of the London Film Festival on October 28th. Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire was the closing night film at LFF two years ago.
