It seems that the magic between Holly Madison and Criss Angel has quickly vanished into thin air. After quitting her post as Playboy's Playmate editor and moving to Las Vegas to spend time with boyfriend Criss Angel, the star of The Girls Next Door has reportedly called it quits with the popular illusionist. According to E! News, Madison, also known as Hugh Hefner's former number 1 girlfriend, has recently moved back in with her family though her split with Angel was amicable.
"She was very much in love with him, and they're still very close friends," a source close to the former couple told E! News. "It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn't devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals."
Madison, 29, and Angel, 41, were rumored to be dating last year after being spotted cozying up in October, shortly after Madison and Hefner ended their relationship. The Madison-Angel pairing immediately became a tabloid sensation as they initially claimed to be just good friends. Eventually, however, they went public with their romance, moved in together and met each others' parents. Just recently, the couple was seen together kissing in Sin City on Valentine's Day.
Although the split was mutual, the decision to go separate ways after four months of dating was not easy.
"It was a tough decision for her to make and come back to L.A. and pursue her career," the source told E! News. "She still has very intense feelings for him."
Meanwhile, Holly Madison and Criss Angel have yet to confirm the news. As of this moment, they are still both in a relationship, according to their status on their respective MySpace pages.
Fans can catch Holly Madison on the season finale of The Girls Next Door this Sunday on E!, while Criss Angel can be seen on Criss Angel: Mindfreak on A&E.
