Creative Arts Emmys Results

Part of the Emmys are already over, though you may not have realized it!

The Creative Arts Emmys took place this past Saturday where awards were given out for everything from costumes to Outstanding Reality Series. Neil Patrick Harris and Sarah Chalke hosted.

Some highlights:

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List won "Outstanding Reality Series" award for the second consecutive year.

While not quite as controversial as her Jesus comment from last year, Griffin didn't disappoint with: "Well, well, well, here we are again f***ers, here we are again. I thank you so much, I'm not going to tell anybody to suck it."

The internet sensation "I'm F***ing Matt Damon" (sung by Sarah Silverman on Jimmy Kimmel Live) picked up 2 awards: Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and Clip Package Editing.

Kathryn Joosten picked up another Emmy for her guest starring role (in a drama) as Mrs. McCluskey on Desperate Housewives. Cynthia Nixon won for her work on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the Drama Guest Starring Role category.

In the animated categories, South Park received an award for hourlong comedy for the special Imaginationland trilogy and The Simpsons won its 10th Emmy in the half-hour category.

The biggest winners of the evening were John Adams with eight wins and Mad Men with four (hairstyling, art direction, cinematography, and main title design).

The Creative Arts Emmys will air Saturday, Sept. 20 at 8 pm/ET on E!.
