The more I read about the plotline of Joss Whedon's new pilot, Dollhouse, the more excited that I am becoming! The basic idea is that Echo (Eliza Dushku, better known as Faith to many) is part of a group of people that are imprinted (re: brainwashed) with different personality packages so that they can perform missions, only to return to the Dollhouse, where they live as a total shell, without any memories of their missions or identity to call their own.
Well, not yet. Echo will soon realize that this way of life is not cool...
At any rate, in an interview about the show, it was described to E!Online as "The Bourne Identity meets Stepford Wives meets boarding school meets Los Angeles neo-noir meets the Whedonverse", which sounds nothing short of awesome (and something that can be taken in so many directions...).
