The CW is now the latest in a stream of networks to jump on the rebranding bandwagon (rebrandwagon?) and introduce a new slogan for Fall, "TV to Talk About". Sorry CW, but the only way in which people talk about your TV is in the sense that it is sorely underwatched.
The CW is joining SciFi, soon to be SyFy - Imagine Greater, as well as Bravo, who is abandoning "Watch What Happens" in favor of the far less inspired, "by Bravo," complete with lowercase "b". I really wonder how much all of these networks paid for their marketing research; whatever it was...maybe it wasn't enough? Seriously, "TV to Talk About", "Imagine Greater" and "by Bravo" are all downgrades, bordering on embarrassments.
So, since needless rebranding seems to be all the rage, I thought I'd give the other networks some help. Here's my suggestions for them; sometimes honesty is the best policy:
