This series for me truly captured the essence of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s.. women and their trials were appropriately portrayed... the actors were so believable.. the costumes and sets pretty amazing.. what's kind of sad aside from this series's end is that for most women nothing of true significance has changed!
It's isn't just women who were downtrodden... lift a woman and you lift the community!
A must see documentary!
well you see what happens when you give people absolute power over your life through government, security or religion... all 3 work together to conspire to bring into life "evil" where ever a dark hole exists when we the people stop watching because we have to work to bring home the bacon and pay the bills.. entrusting our loved ones to strangers who are supposed to have the well being of these young lives .. the Nuns charged with teaching these children didn't think to ask why certain children were being asked to leave their classrooms more often than not?? no one thought to Oh I don't know .. maybe stand at the door and listen?? I sure would.. Then again look at what happened to the only one who was awake enough to realize what was happening... sadly her demise I believe came from entrusting the information she had to the wrong person seeing as her confidante was involved up to his neck with this abusive behavior!
Kudos to the ladies who have taken it upon themselves to investigate these crimes as they are clearly more on the ball than the police department, the FBI and the CIA!
Good on them and I hope for the sake of all the victims dead or alive and the families and friends that loved and/or were touched by them that the perpetrators still alive are finally brought to justice and those dead.. well we all know where they are!
