Rachel's Rating: Pick!
This show has room for improvement, but it has the right goofy tone for NBC's Thursday night line-up.

If the address sounds familiar, it should. It's the White House, and the First Family isn't the composed and put-together bunch you'd hope they'd be.

The Carrie Diaries

Rain's Rating: Pick!
So far, so good. I'm still not buying that this Carrie grows up to be that Carrie, but the show thus far is harmless fun.

A Sex and the City prequel following the adventures of a teenage Carrie Bradshaw in 1980s Manhattan, minus the era-appropriate crime and urban decay.

Robert Knepper is cast perfectly as a creepy pseudo-cult leader, so I'll give it a shot.

Imagine if obsessed fans of a show like Lost started a real cult, and then started disappearing? Such is the basic premise of this drama.

A lot of people are saying this show is too much like Revenge…and a lot of people are right.

A cop returns to the rich town of her youth to investigate the mysterious death of her childhood best friend.

Leah's Rating: Pick!
Samm Levine is on this show! And it's about a neurosurgeon with an alternate personality! What about that combination isn't amazing?

This modern-day Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde stars Steven Pasquale as a brilliant surgeon by day, dangerous man by night.

Zaz's Rating: TBD
Not sure how many nail gun and plate glass jokes I can stomach.

When it comes to his career, Jack Shea always screws things up. But now that he's taking over his father's Mr. Jiffy Fix business, he's got another shot at nailing it.

The Following Picked up!

Rachel's Rating: Pick!
This show is INTENSE. It's bringing the drama that the lame-o Touch has failed to deliver for Fox.

Kevin Bacon stars as an ex-FBI agent called back into duty when the serial killer he put behind bars escapes, and amasses a following.

Zaz's Rating: Pan!
Inconsistent, far-fetched ambition and cockiness is tedious. Snore.

Drama follows the meteoric rise of a young cop as he reaches the rank of police commissioner.

Rain's Rating: Pick!
Of the three new midseason shows about serial killers, this one is, so far, a cut above the rest.

Thriller series featuring the classic characters from Thomas Harris’ novel Red Dragon – FBI agent Will Graham and his mentor Dr. Hannibal Lecter – who are re-introduced at the beginning of their budding relationship.

Morgaine's Rating: Pan!
Warning: This show may hit a little too close to home for recent college graduates.

Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) stars as a single mother who has to move back in with her parents, who are decidedly less mature than she is.

Yael's Rating: Pan!
Are the Rancics, Eva Longoria, and some random "matchmakers" really the authority on finding love?

Reality dating show, from producer Eve Longoria, with the aim of making "real connections."

Rain's Rating: Pan!
Fake San Francisco scenery isn't helping this rather boring crime story.

A widow must protect her family and confront her Russian mafia past when her husband dies at the hands of crime lords.

Morgaine's Rating: Pan!
I've never been a fan of slapstick, but watching people injure themselves is even worse when it's not on purpose.

Celebrities dive into pools of water.

Rain's Rating: Pan!
The only thing more ridiculous than this show is that other show about celebrity diving, over on ABC.

"Stars" like JWOWW and Kim and Kyle Richards fling themselves off of high dive boards, all in the name of entertainment.

Zero Hour Canceled

DaVinci Code drivel. Pass.

Missing meets The DaVinci Code meets National Treasure meets ER (because Anthony Edwards).
