Clips: The Hoff's Cancelled "Trust Us With Your Life"

Fred Willard has been struck down yet again.  ABC has announced it is pulling Trust Us With Your Life and replacing it with Wipeout in lieu of Fred Willard's masturbation scandal, and just when it was about to get good!  Tonight would have seen the appearance of David Hasselhoff on the show.  Can you think of anyone else that was more made for Trust Us With Your Life ?  The Hoff is already a parody of himself, for crying out loud, imagine the hilarity that would come from adding another layer of parody on top of that.  Wait, you don't have to image, because we have clips!  And thank the TV Gods, because indications are this is the only look you are going to get anytime soon:

Ricky Gervais Can't Keep It Together On 'Trust Us With Your Life'

" Trust Us With Your Life " (Tue., 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC) marries the fun of improv comedy with star power. Ricky Gervais brought his giggle and manic self to the stage in this week's episode, and just as he cracks up quite regularly during his podcast -- and the HBO animated series based on it, " The Ricky Gervais Show " -- he simply couldn't keep it together. The comics were acting out a story Gervais told about being hungry on his way to the Golden Globes, with Gervais participating. He wasn't supposed to talk in the sketch, but he broke character several times and laughed continuously. But he got through it, even planting a reluctant kiss on Wayne Brady's cheek along the way. It was all in good fun and proved that the success of the show often lies in the celebrity guest. Mark Cuban was on the first episode, and simply didn't generate as many laughs as Gervais was able to. New celebrities have their stories interpreted on "Trust Us With You Life," Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.

'Trust Us With Your Life': Serena Williams and Ricky Gervais play along with improv comics

Talk shows and improv comedy collide in "Trust Us With Your Life," an unconventional ABC summer series premiering Tuesday, July 10.In each episode, host Fred Willard interviews a celebrity about his life and, at intervals, turns to the show's group of improv comics to act out the moment the star has just described."Fred turns to us and, with some sort of game element to it, has us improvise on what we have just heard - and it can get really interesting," explains Colin Mochrie, the Scottish-Canadian comic and actor who appears in each episode along with Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum as well as some guest performers. "Jerry Springer started off talking about his grandparents who, I believe, were lost in the Holocaust.
