100 Questions Reviews & Ratings

Emmy winner James Burrows (Will & Grace, Friends) directs 100 Questions, a new comedy series written and executive produced by Christopher Moynihan (For Your Consideration) that provides hilarious answers to 100 questions about love. Charlotte Payne (Sophie Winkleman, Peep Show) is looking for love and has rejected multiple marriage proposals -- but she has yet to meet Mr. Right. When she joins a popular online dating site, she gets a little help from her dating counselor Ravi (Amir Talai, The Ex List) - who requires her to take a 100-question compatibility test. The questions aren’t easy for Charlotte to answer, and each one requires her to recount a poignant and humorous time in her life with friends Leslie (Elizabeth Ho, Women’s Murder Club), Jill (Joy Suprano, NBC’s Law & Order), Mike (Christopher Moynihan, For Your Consideration) and Wayne (David Walton, Quarterlife).

So very bad. Unoriginal. I think they were hoping Sophie Winkelman had enough of a following for everyone to ignore how bad the script and concept was. She didn't.

Ahh, this series was just really bad. I liked the guy that was questioning the main character and that was about it. All the other characters felt cliched, but not in a funny way, just in annoying one. Also the style and optics of this show was stuck somewhere in the late 80s. With this one I never questioned why it was canceled, I only questioned why I watched more than one episode of it.

Not quite 100 questions, actually more like 6 (though I don’t think it would have taken 100 questions for her to realise she wants to be with Wayne. The fact that it took her soulmate finder more than one makes him very bad at his job).

I like the general concept; a woman goes to a matchmaking service and has to answer 100 questions in order to find her soulmate, all of which involve her telling a story from her past. A bit like How I Met Your Mother, but not so far in the future that it risks pissing everyone off when it gets to the final outcome. It’s just a shame it never got to make it to that outcome.

A very likeable cast and amusing script. Not the best sitcom ever made but it had a lot of potential and I wish I’d got to see more of it.

Liked the plot and all, but only six episodes. Not enough to get attached, and what for anyways?
