TV ratings: 'The Blacklist' and 'Sleepy Hollow' stay strong Monday, 'We Are Men' has soft premiere

Fast National ratings for Monday, Sept. 30, 2013Ratings on the broadcast networks were for the most part down a little bit Monday, as you'd expect following the rush of premiere week. The order of things stayed pretty much the same as well -- "The Voice" was the night's top show in both viewers and adults 18-49, leading NBC to a prime-time win."The Blacklist" also held up pretty well for NBC, dropping only two tenths of a point in the 18-49 demo in its second week. "Sleepy Hollow" also remained solid for FOX, and "Bones" was up some over last week. The news was not as good for CBS, which dipped across the board and saw the premiere of "We Are Men" draw ratings below those of the quickly canceled "Partners" last year. "Dancing With the Stars" slipped for ABC, but "Castle" held steady.NBC brought in 13.5 million viewers and an 8.2 rating/13 share in households... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/10/tv-ratings-the-blacklist-and-sleepy-hollow-stay-strong-monday-we-are-men-has-soft-premiere.html

TV ratings: 'The Voice' and 'The Blacklist' score for NBC Monday, 'Mom' and 'Hostages' underwhelm

Fast National ratings for Monday, Sept. 23, 2013The first official, Nielsen-measured night of the 2013-14 TV season belonged to NBC. "The Voice" premiere improved on the debut ratings for both of last season's cycles, and "The Blacklist" easily led its hour among adults 18-49. The latter opened slightly below "Revolution" last year, but "Revolution" also debuted against lighter competition. The news was less good for CBS Monday. "How I Met Your Mother" improved on last season's premiere, but "2 Broke Girls" was down a good amount. That led to new shows "Mom" and "Hostages" both posting underwhelming ratings. ABC's "Castle" was up a little over its 2012 premiere, while "Bones" and "Sleepy Hollow" each fell a bit against the heavier competition.NBC led the night with just under 14 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/13 share in households. '2 Broke Girls' premiere: A dead rock star puts the cupcake shop on the map

On the Season 3 premiere of "2 Broke Girls," Max and Caroline opened their cupcake window for the after-bar drunkards in Williamsburg, but they got a little more than they bargained for. The opening was marred by rock star Roland kicking the bucket while buying and eating some cupcakes. It was initially a god-send -- the candlelight vigil brought in lots of business. But then the autopsy revealed he died from choking on their cupcakes and that night only brought urine from a homeless man. But there was some good news. Hanh has agreed to let them use the backroom of the diner rent free until they make $250,000 because they are his friends. Aww.The highlight of the episode was really Max's recap of what happened this summer:Anything new, let's see, well -- Facebook went public and Edward Snowden went private.
