Trashcan Sinatras has been a band for nearly three decades, releasing some of the finest, smartest pop around to a relatively small group of diehards. The band tends to wait quite a long time between albums, and this year’s Wild Pendulum was no exception; it’s only the group’s sixth album in all that time. We invited them to do a cover from our list, and that performance will be coming up in September. Since I’m such a big fan, we also had them do some more songs, including “Best Day On Earth,” from Wild Pendulum. Here’s that, and look for their cover of… something we’re not telling you in September.
