What would you do if a 200 year old Alien Life Form (ALF) crash landed in your garage?
Willie Tanner, his wife Kate and their children Lynn and Brian decide that protecting ALF from the government run Alien Task Force is the only option.
Harboring an alien fugitive turns their suburban Californian family upside down, but the Tanners and ALF learn together that even interplanetary cultural barriers can be overcome by love and family.
