Sana escapes from a research facility and with the help of two unknown benefactors, manages to escape the facility guards and teleport to Shinjuku. There, she meets Zouroku and attempts to enter into a deal with him. Zouroku refuses to make any deal with her and they are both attacked by Asahi and Yonaga, who have arrived to take Sana back to the facility. Zouroku is able to subdue the sisters and he and the three girls are taken into police custody. Sana uses her powers to teleport out of the police station while Zouroku, Asahi, and Yonaga are released due to orders to cover up the incident. Zouroku encounters Sana again, who reveals to him that she is a "Dream of Alice", a girl with supernatural powers that allows her to alter reality and create whatever she can think of. She wanted to enter into a deal with Zouroku to help her destroy the research facility and free the other Dreams of Alice being held there and experimented on. Instead, Zouroku offers to feed and shelter Sana, under the condition that she help with his work and not use her powers. He first leads Sana to his workplace, where she finds out that he is a florist. Zouroku then takes Sana to his home where she quickly falls asleep.
