Now more than ever, JoAnna Garcia Swisher knows it takes "Practice" to be a series star.The wife of New York Yankees right fielder Nick Swisher previously was a regular on "Reba," "Privileged" and "Better With You." 'Animal Practice' Star Marisa Quinn Talks About Her Tiger Costar and Other Tails

When your co-stars are a monkey and a tiger, things are bound to get a little wild. That's what actress Marisa Quinn found out when filming the upcoming NBC sitcom Animal Practice . The sitcom takes place in a veterinary hospital and centers around the zany characters who work within its walls. And things are looking bright for the denizens of Animal Practice . NBC is giving the show a big thumbs-up by airing the pilot episode of the fall series early after the Olympics this Sunday. Marisa Quinn, who will also be appearing in the final Twilight installment, got to log some quality time with tigers and monkeys and star Justin Kirk. Oh my! Actress JoAnna Garcia Cast in This Fall’s ‘Animal Practice’

Actress JoAnna Garcia, best known for her comedic role  in the long-running sitcom ‘Reba’, has replaced Irish actress Amy Huberman (best known for her role in the Hallmark movie ‘Chasing Leprechauns’ and the award-winning Irish medical drama ‘The Clinic’) in this fall’s new NBC workplace comedy   Animal Practice . The sitcom, which will air on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on NBC, stars Justin Kirk (‘ Weeds ’) as Dr. George Coleman, a  House -like veterinarian who loves animals but usually hates their owners.
