Arrested Development Reviews & Ratings

Sundays, 12:00 AM ET on Netflix

30 minutes

Arrested Development is a character-driven American comedy television series, which ran from November 2, 2003 to February 10, 2006. It is about a formerly wealthy and habitually dysfunctional family. The series is presented in a fashion reminiscent of documentary film/cinema verite, with omniscient narration (by Ron Howard), archival photographs, and historic footage.

I do not understand the praise lavished on this show. It is mildly entertaining at best.

Really liked it at first but i find it super repetitive after a while.
Characters don't evolve, situation neither and i found it pretty boring cause i felt like watching the same thing over and over.

You're generic family comedy show, fitting the 2010's.
I would recommend it.

Amazing show. Amazing talents. Kind of a rocky season 4 but let's hope season 5 amazes us all. Even if it blows I still can't wait for it to come out.

This show is amazing. From its smart humor to it's inside jokes. Just stay away from season 4. You can skip it.

I liked the fourth series as much as the other three. Hilarious, self-referential, and bursting with jokes, if you're reading this then stop reading it and watch the first episode.

The fact that noone in the Bluth family can do a chicken impression, and that they all do them differently wrongly, is a genius joke and a very small sample.

(BTW, if you take all the words I've used, add a carrot and an onion and boil it up? You got yourself a stew going.)

Funny show until Netflix took over. One thing Netflix didn't do well.

Absolutely need to see multiple times to fully appreciate jokes, the hallmark of a great comedy
