In this comedy's premiere, a divorced single mom and former softball all-star decides to coach her son's baseball team of misfits after they're rejected by the local Little League hierarchy, and gets help from her grizzled, beer-guzzling father, a once-promising ballplayer with whom she's forced to live after being estranged for years.
