It is an amazing job that this young man does in portraying the role of Norman Bates. He creeps me out with every new episode and this one really take s the cake. Give the kid an Emmy. He's earned it.

This finale was... powerful. The ending of the last episode was the turning point of the series. Now that Norma is dead, the whole tone of the show has changed. Norman (Highmore) is alive and h is mother is dead. The whole episode Norman knows that his mother will come back. But as a viewer, watching the man who just killed his mother speak of his love for her and the certainty of her return is peculiar. It's powerful. This episode is a wonderful highnote setting up the last season to be momentous!
