‘Beauty And the Beast’ (Season 2): Separate Ways

This second season of  Beauty And the Beast  has been a test of endurance for Catherine (series lead Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (series lead Jay Ryan) between tracking Vincent down after he was taken by Catherine’s biological father (recurring guest star Ted Whittall); running Muirfield into the ground; ending Vincent’s run as an assassin against the other existing beasts; oh, and a little encounter between the two of them that ended with Vincent getting shot by Catherine. And that one bullet did more than nearly take Vincent’s life, it put the once loving couple at odds with each other. After a year and a half of Vincent and Catherine being a couple – in one way or another – they have gone their separate ways with Vincent seemingly starting a relationship with Tori (recurring guest star Amber Skye Noyes) – who shares ties with Vincent in the fact that she is a beast too – while Catherine has a paramour in Gabe (series regular Sendhil Ramamurthy), who she will – more than likely – start a relationship with too especially given that not all too surprising kiss at the end of Monday night’s episode. 'Beauty and the Beast': Is love dead in 'Don't Die on Me'?

The first "Beauty and the Beast" episode of 2014, "Don't Die on Me," ended with all important characters alive and (sort of healthy). But what about love? Did everything between Vincent and Catherine die in a single episode? Was it all for nothing? At one point in "Don't Die on Me," Cat asks Vincent if all of their struggles over two years would be for nothing. She doesn't get much of an answer directly, but Vincent definitely takes the path of leaving it all behind. Granted, Vincent has a pretty good reason to be irritated with Catherine these days. She did, after all, shoot him. With Tori whispering in his ear that this was very wrong, and even JT taking the shooting-bad side of things, why would Vincent feel any differently about the whole thing? This is not, however, a valid reason to choose Tori over Cat when it comes to saving the day. I mean, really?... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/beauty-and-the-beast-is-love-dead-in-dont-die-on-me.html

'Beauty and the Beast' photo: Why is Vincent going public in 'Don't Die on Me'?

When "Beauty and the Beast" Season 2 returns with its first new episode of 2014 -- "Don't Die on Me" -- there is serious tension between Catherine and Vincent. But the big question posed by this exclusive photo is: Why is Vincent talking to the press? While Season 2 Vincent (Jay Ryan) hasn't been as secretive as he once was, it seems like a very bad idea for the Beast to talk in such a public forum. The man does seem a little freaked out by the situation too. Is this something that Tori (guest star Amber Skye Noyes) -- seen in the background -- arranged? What will this mean for Catherine (Kristin Kreuk)?Elsewhere in the episode, Cat has to help protect Tori in order to keep Vincent safe. However, Vincent still tries to intervene, leading to major consequences. Some of those consequences may have the effect of bringing Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Catherine closer... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/beauty-and-the-beast-photo-why-is-vincent-going-public-in-dont-die-on-me.html
