Robert Guillaume was nominated for an Emmy in five of them and won for the 1984-85 season. He also won a Supporting Emmy in the role in `Soap' the season before `Benson' debuted. In the 1980-81 season, Jerry Seinfeld was featured in some episodes as Frankie.
