Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012Ratings for "The X Factor" improved some Wednesday over last week's modest premiere, giving FOX a demographic victory for the night. The premiere of "Survivor: Philippines" on CBS, meanwhile, improved on its total-viewer numbers from both of last season's premieres -- although it was down a bit in adults 18-49 -- and beat "The X Factor" head-to-head in viewers. The "Big Brother" season finale was off a bit from last year, though.FOX brought in 9.4 million viewers and a 5.5 rating/9 share in households for the night, narrowly beating CBS (9.3 million, 5.5/9) for the top spot.
