BREAKING BAD Series Finale Recap: “Felina”

Well  Breaking Bad , that was damned perfect.  Not that we should have expected any less.  I stuck around for a few minutes of  Talking Bad  just to see what  Vince Gilligan  had to say about his seminal series and that finale.  Essentially, that this wasn’t a show that deserved a question mark ending — it needed to be final, a story that was  completely  finished.  “Felina” couldn’t have been any better when it comes to that — “Ozymandias” was the beginning of the end, and these last two weeks were about closure.  We needed it, and Walt needed it.  Hit the jump for why, “if that’s your plan, you’re going to need a bigger knife.” Read More... http://collider.com/breaking-bad-series-finale-recap-felina/

BREAKING BAD: "FELINA" REVIEW

That’s it. That’s all. Who saw that coming? Who saw it unfold just like that? Maybe you saw Uncle Jack vs. Walt, or Todd vs. Jesse, or Lydia getting ricin’d (oh my god they finally used the ricin), but who saw it go down exactly like that? The devil was always in the details with this show. Read More... http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/09/30/breaking-bad-felina-review

'Breaking Bad' Series Finale Recap: Walter White's Last Stand

One of my favorite season finales of all time was the end of  Breaking Bad 's   fourth season. The Gus Fring story ended in a glorious reality-bending shot, and Walt had apparently reached his moral low in achieving that victory. While I think that episode still tops my personal best-of list, this series finale arguably accomplishes even more: the story circles back on itself perfectly, everything is out in the open and it ends the era of what might be an even better villain than Gus: Walter White himself.  Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/breaking-bad/breaking-bad-series-finale-rec-51364.aspx
