Californication arrives at Hank's trial next Sunday. But the day starts off badly for our sex-driven man, who has an awkward encounter with Bill in front of the courthouse. From there, Charlie doesn't exactly offer the most reassuring character testimony, while Karen paints an immature picture of her ex. What will happen from there? We can't say. Californication's Shameless Showtime Promo

In the inexplicably long-running smutcom's fourth season, the grotesque Marcy Runkle (Pamela Adlon) is being romanced by big-time Hollywood producer Stu Beggs (Stephen Tobolowsky, aka Groundhog Day 's Ned Ryerson, wasting his talent). He convinces her to pitch a TV series to — you guessed it — Showtime, because it's supposedly even cooler than HBO and FX. Marcy praises  Nurse Jackie  and they visit the cabler's offices, where she's surrounded by posters of  Weeds ,  Dexter ,  The United States of Tara  — practically every Showtime series except  Californication  and its lead-outs,  Episodes  and Shameless . Californication Preview & Clips: "Lights. Camera. A$$hole."

Californication delved into some "naked poetry" on the most recent installment of this Showtime hit. Next Sunday, meanwhile, Hank may find himself in trouble that goes beyond banging his lawyer. On "Lights. Camera. Asshole," he meets a woman played by Callie Thorne. What comes initial flirting between the pair at a bar? We can't tell you. But we can at least publish the official preview for this episode, followed by a couple of clips from it. Enjoy! http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/02/californication-preview-and-clips-lights-camera-ahole/

Reel Funny TV: The Shows That Ben & Billy DON'T Like So Much - 1/31/11

Californication's gratuitous talk of David Duchovny's genitals earns it first up on the list, while the Onion News Network shows how filth is done right with its hilarious clip of Steve Hoyer schoolin' the public on proper nutrition. The 'Californication' Cast Talks Nudity, Guest Stars & This Season's Hijinks (VIDEO)

'Californication' has always been a rollercoaster of a show; it's heartfelt and bringing you to tears one minute, offensive and borderline disgusting the next. Having seen the entire fourth season already -- with pretty ladies and Hollywood tempting Hank Moody more than ever -- I can tell you that it's no different. I caught up with castmembers Pamela Adlon, Evan Handler and Madeleine Martin, as well as guest star Carla Gugino, to hear about the ups, the downs and the big changes happening in Hank's universe this season (Sundays, 9PM ET on Showtime). David Duchovny on Californication Season-Five Pickup—And How Long His Backside Will Hold Up

This just in: Showtime's  Californication  will live on for season five! So how long will it go beyond that? I just spoke to  David Duchovny  exclusively moments ago about the good pick-up news, and he revealed how long he sees himself staying on the series, and his one (very funny) reservation... "I'd like to go six seasons," David says of  Californication 's fate. "I always thought six would be a good number …72 episodes would be right."
