Very appropriate for today, the Mother’s Day episode. (But it is very grim) The company who build Capadocia wants some positive PR and schedules a Mother’s Day festival. So we have the Magos’ flashbacks as how she poisoned her kids with soup to keep her abusive husband from hurting them. However, the husband and elder daughter survive. She shows only to ask for money. One of the prisoners’ newborns is taken away (Capadocia, unlike the old jail, won’t allow kids to be raised there) so she goes nuts and commits suicide, hanging herself in the middle of the festival while Denise De Kala is singing her most famous song ‘Mi Madre’. Damn. Also, this episode starts the arc of a nun who gets trapped because she was transporting cocaine inside saints figurines. The most disturbing development is that Licenciada Lagos’ daughter has developed a crush on her mother's lover, and is pulling all the stops to seduce him. He’s 25, she’s 17.
