This week we're featuring a number of shows, mostly those in their first or second season though some further along, that are in danger of cancellation. Of these shows in the Cancellation Danger Zone, which do you think deserve to stick around? Are there still great plot developments left to be played out? Are there secrets yet to be unveiled? Are there characters you'd be heartbroken to be without? I would love to see some like Heroes , Lipstick Jungle , and Dirty Sexy Money play out, but I'd be the most heartbroken over Pushing Daisies and Chuck myself! I've seen at least 3 separate sites discussing this blind item , which was originally posted by EW's Michael Ausiello. My interest has officially been piqued. The show is said to be a show in its sophomore season (and a drama) and the clue is as follows: "Each actor is crazier than the next," whispers a staffer employed behind the scenes at the war-torn program. "And they all pretty much hate each other." And they're finding it increasingly difficult to hide their mutual disdain from viewers. Per my snitch, the male lead "cannot stand" his love interest, "and it's obvious by their complete lack of chemistry." The good news is, the nightmare may soon be over for all concerned. Although the show enjoys a rabid cult following and solid critical support, its ratings are such that a third season is looking very unlikely." Sophomore show options: Pushing Daisies Private Practice Dirty Sexy Money Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Chuck Life Lipstick Jungle Eli Stone And...today Ausiello added that it's definitely not Pushing Daisies . So...there's not that many options here. Let's figure it out. My first guess was Dirty Sexy Money , but does that really have a rabid cult following? And it's not Chuck because those kids' chemistry is electric! My money's on Private Practice (Addison and Pete haven't had all that many scenes together this season...). However, I haven't been keeping up with T:TSCC (which of the batch I would honestly say has the most rabid cult following). What's the chemistry like there?
The new episode of prison break (or whatever show) is out and you're excited. You come to the sidereel page all eager and ready to watch. And you are told as soon as you get there, that a character has died. Why? Why?! Why must the fan scroll through reviews and news packed with spoilers to get to the episodes in the first place? Sidereel: understand your priorities, your ruining what should be a brilliant experience. Then again, I could be mistaken. Is there a way to customise your profile so such articles are not there?
its seems that people in America are out there voting, that is the only reason that i can think of that they have not wasted valuable voting time with uploading episodes! which i think is great cos history is about happen TONIGHT!!!!!!!!! GO OBAMA!!!!!!!
Why hasn't episode six been released yet?
Bit of a weird question this....... How long does a spoiler last till it is just common knowledge?? I'm sure I can quite openly say that "Bruce Willis was a ghost all along in The Sixth Sense" or "Batman ends up getting a sidekick called Robin" without a load of people saying nasty things about me for ruining it for them. I guess you can't say anything about the most recent episode of a TV show without declaring *****WARNING!!! SPOILERS!!!***** but the episode before? The season before? is that okay? I'm just wondering.........
Personally, I loved last night's episode of Chuck even more so than usual! Firstly, the fact that this episode contained Chumbawamba, Backstreet Boys, Hanson and Paula Cole as musical selections made it enjoyable enough (go 1998!). Throw in learning some much coveted details about Sarah's past (so her name's Jenny...) and a surprisingly not awful guest appearance by Nicole Richie (and don't forget Ben Savage, who I didn't even realize would also be appearing), and you have one of my favorite episodes of Chuck ever! What did you all think of last night's episode?
I was slightly confused by what they were trying to convey to the watchers in this part. I would think that she would be willing to shoot to save his life. Was she afraid she would hit him? Did she not want to risk the other person killing him first? Was she paralyzed by fear? This didn't make that much sense to me. I don't think they did the best job with this scene. I understand what they were trying to say about the relationship between them. Also what do you guys think will happen with how they left things? MILD SPOILERS UPCOMING (NOTHING THATS NOT IN EXTENDED PREVIEW) I saw the extended preview on NBC and it seems like the big reason they couldn't be together when he was done with the spy stuff wouldn't be much of an issue after this upcoming episode.
Yet another day in which i come onto sidereel and my news feed is flooded with the supposed early release of every episode of every current show I watch and I ask myself is there nothing that can be done? I understand that reviewing all the posts would be an incredibly large task and that the users are just creating more spam accounts but this is getting a little bit out of hand, I have marked countless users posts as "inappropriate" but how can we stop this from happening in the first place? If anyone has any ideas then post them below, or if you think I am being unreasonable then feel free to comment on that too
Two words: The National. Additional words also to be noted: Spoon, Cake, Band of Horses, Flight of the Conchords, Eels, Gogol Bordello, Beck, Jet, Gomez, Iggy Pop, Violent Femmes, The New Pornographers, Oasis.... And more. Awesome. Who picks out the music for this show? They need a candy bar.
