It's the final night in an Italian showdown and confident that he can win the week-long dining challenge is mellow insurance agent Lou DeSantis. Joining him around his bed sheet covered table are outspoken gardener Lulu LoBuglio, loudmouth music producer Lazzaro Pisu, bubbly coupon queen Mirella Martino, and cutesy acro dancer Erica Carinci. Tonight's host is making his pasta from scratch for his appetizer: orecchiette pasta with rapini and sausage. Moving onto his main, Lou gets creative with rosemary-crusted roast pork with rice-stuffed tomatoes and braised cipolin onions and green beans. For dessert he serves strawberry crostata and honey vanilla gelato complete with home-made pastry.
