Each week, Eden Eats, host Eden Grinshpan lands in a new city for her 24-hour around-the-world food adventure.
On Eden Eats, Eden Grinshpan arrives in Austin Texas for her 24 hour around the world food adventure. If you think you're in for BBQ and Tex-Mex think again! Eden is invited into each kitchen and discovers how people from all over the world have re-created their lives and culture through food. From Chef Piroshka's famous Hungarian Spaetzle for dinner at the European Bistro to Malek the baker's Lebanese Pita making machine at 4am, every step leads to another country without a passport!
Eden heads around the world in the diverse desert city of Phoenix, AZ where she kicks off her trip in an Indian market. She learns how to make chats, a refreshing Indian snack food, and visits a large Indian festival street festival. Next she makes pierogies with a Polish baker, kabobs with a Lebanese butchering family, and helps Bosnian bakers make breakfast all before the sunrises. Lastly Eden uncovers a touching story of survival while taking in an authentic Cambodian meal, and winds down her trip at a Native American reservation making chili and being invited to join a Native American traditional dance. She arrives back in the same spot 24 hours later, her body tired, but her belly full!
