In preparation for their climb up Mount Takao, the girls read a guide containing information about the types of gear they should carry. Since Aoi lacks a backpack, they visit the mountaineering store to purchase one. With Aoi unable to decide, Hinata asks the store clerk for help and he explains the different types of packs. Hinata later tells Aoi that she doesn't have to be shy to ask for help, and even fronts her the difference to purchase a yellow daypack. While the girls head home, Hinata gives Aoi the same advice the latter had given to Kaede in choosing a schlafsäcke and teases that Aoi has to pay her back with interest.
