Brian and Stewie Travel Back to 1999 to See the 'Family Guy' Pilot (VIDEO)

Originally, this week's episode of 'Family Guy' (Sun., 9PM ET on FOX) was going to be the next installment in the 'Road to...' episodes featuring Brian and Stewie. Instead, Stewie's time machine brought the duo 'Back to the Pilot.' It was certainly a fun look back at the early animation from 1999, as well as the slightly different voices used for several of the main characters, and of course Lacey Chabert voicing Meg. But it was just too tempting for Brian to alter the past, and when they got back to the present, they discovered he'd single-handedly thwarted the 9/11 attacks. Unfortunately, this led to a second Civil War, and five years down the road the world is a post-apocalyptic wasteland ... but it's not all bad. TV ratings: 'Once Upon a Time' solid again Sunday, NFL scores for NBC

Fast national ratings for Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011"Once Upon a Time" is proving to be a very consistent performer early in its life on ABC. The show posted solid ratings for the third week in a row Sunday, beating everything that wasn't the Ravens-Steelers game in its timeslot. The news wasn't as good for the rest of ABC's lineup, though, as "Desperate Housewives" was off a bit from last week and "Pan Am" was flat in adults 18-49 and down a tick in viewers.Elsewhere, "Sunday Night Football" gave NBC another victory for the night, while FOX also got a bump from NFL games bleeding into primetime -- although "Allen Gregory" continued to struggle. CBS was its usual steady self.Network numbers coming shortly. Quagmire Plots to Murder His Sister's Abuser on 'Family Guy' (VIDEO)

'Family Guy' (Sun., 9PM ET on FOX) got very serious and very dark in their subject matter this week. When Quagmire's sister stopped by to visit, the boys found themselves awkwardly in the middle of her abusive relationship with her boyfriend. Domestic abuse is a difficult subject to tackle respectfully in comedy, and certainly not one you expect to see on a show like 'Family Guy.' But for all its general ridiculousness, the show did handle this very serious problem with the respect it deserves. They also provided a fantasy narrative for many people who feel unsure what to do about this very real situation in their lives through Quagmire. http://www.aoltv.com/2011/10/31/quagmire-plots-murder-sisters-abuser-family-guy-video/

TV Ratings: Football dominates, but Andy Rooney's final '60 Minutes' draws a crowd

Fast National ratings for Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.The football is in full swing, and with that, NBC's domination of Sunday ratings continue. The match-up wasn't a terribly tight game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets, but it's still football, and that's often good enough.Perhaps the biggest winner of the night was "60 Minutes" which boasted an audience bump of 6 million viewers over last week, mostly due to the retirement of their famed commentator Andy Rooney. The other interesting story to follow was the performance of ABC's new retro-drama "Pan Am." The show slid from last week's 10.9 million viewers to 7.7 million this week. NBC led the night with 14.6 million viewers and a 8.9 rating/14 share in households. CBS followed with 12.9 million (8.0/13). ABC took third with 7.6 million (4.7/7). FOX was in last with 5.8 million (3.3/5).NBC also led the adults 18-49 demographic, with a 5.9 rating. CBS... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/10/fast-national-ratings-for-sunday.html

Seth MacFarlane's Leading Men All Meet in Conclusion of Hurricane Crossover (VIDEO)

Originally planned to the be the season finales for Seth MacFarlane's shows this past May, the hurrican crossover for 'The Cleveland Show,' 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad' (Sun., 9:30PM ET on FOX) was shelved in response to a swath of tornadoes devastating the country at that time. While there was a lot of fanfare for their impending premiere back then, FOX very quietly dropped them in as the second episodes of their respective series this season. Disappointingly, it wasn't until 'American Dad,' though, that the hurricane really became the focal point of the story. As such, it was a bit of an overall disappointment as a crossover event, though we absolutely loved Cleveland Brown and Peter Griffin making a cameo at the end of 'American Dad.' http://www.aoltv.com/2011/10/03/seth-macfarlane-leading-men-meet-hurricane-crossover-video/
