The first 2,3 seasons were quite good. Instead of holding that robust, good, down to earth people connecting with people vibe, they ruined it. Probably it's the producers fault, who try to work some idiotic, unoriginal, cheap and unfunny sketches in the show, these sketches have horrible music and even more horrible acting. Also lost all of it's originality and soul. It was a car show, now it's more focused on the deal and the idiotic clips and sketches and everything about it now seems staged.

What I like about this show is that although Richard and Aaron are certainly characters, they are by no means posers like Danny Counts. What you see is what you get and being concerned with trying to be cool is too Jr. high for these guys. They also cater to folks who know which is the working end of the screwdriver cuz they show a fair amount of the details of the build unlike the aforementioned Counting Cars.
