Tick, tock. Tick, tock... Now that Walternate's doomsday machine was activated last Friday night, the countdown is on and in two weeks, we'll be seeing whether our universe or the alt-world makes it out of Fringe 's third season alive. Then again, who knows? Walter and company are pretty crafty, so maybe both will be OK. Or maybe the worlds will merge. One thing we do know for sure is that we should expect at least one fatality. 'Cause that's how finales roll, you know? http://www.tvguide.com/News/Watercooler-Fringe-Finale-1032243.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Fringe Spoilers: Season Finale Death to Come!

According to Fringe producer Jeff Pinker, a third universe will NOT be introduced on the May 6 season finale. But that doesn't mean the show won't incorporate a world different from our own in some way, one referred to as heaven: "Somebody who we all love deeply will die," Pinker told us during a conference call. Added fellow producer J.H. Wyman: " Fringe always does things the way you don’t expect, so it’s going to be effective, and it will be self-explanatory. That's sort of all we can say without spoiling anything." Read More... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/04/fringe-spoilers-season-finale-death-to-come/

'Fringe's' Joshua Jackson: 'The fans of the show saved us'

No one is a bigger "Fringe" fan than Joshua Jackson. When we talked to him in January he was visibly relieved by the show's solid performance on Friday nights. Let's just say it's very clear that this man loves his job and wants to hang onto it for as long as possible. He's not one of those TV actors who wants to bail to give the film industry a shot. (We're guessing that might have to do with the fact that he's been there, done that.)It's likely he was just as thrilled as we were, if not more so, when FOX made the surprise move of giving "Fringe" an early full-season pickup. "The fans of the show saved us," he tells Chelsea Handler. "They kept us going. They started a whole campaign sending Red Vines, which if you watch the show you know are sort of Walter's happy place, and they sent the Red Vines... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/04/fringes-joshua-jackson-the-fans-of-the-show-saved-us.html

'Fringe': We know that voice!

"There is an entire world out there with no rhyme or reason." You will hear these ominous words intoned on this Friday’s new episode of   Fringe , which launches the sci-fi saga into its season 3 endgame — and sets the stage for season 4. Who’s doing the intoning? We could spoil it for you — or we could let you click on the video below and do the spoiling yourself. My guess is that you can easily guess, and in fact, talking about it further will only clarify the matter. So   SPOILER ALERT ! for my remaining prattle. Produced by Fox and presented here exclusively, the promo has the cast of   Fringe   touting the return of a certain iconic character — and teasing the fact that said character will be returning in a most curious fashion. In a word: Fascinating . The video awaits. And come back Friday for more intel on the episode, as well as my interview with exec producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman about Fox’s (BRILLIANT!) decision to renew   Fringe   for another season.   Read More... http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/04/11/fringe-exclusive-leonard-nimoy/

Chucky Comes to Fringe (Well, His Voice at Least)

Veteran actor   Brad Dourif   will be bringing his awesomely quirky self to   Fringe , reports   TVLine.com's Matt Mitovich . Dourif will be guest starring in the   Season 3   finale of the show, though we're not sure what the role is as yet. TV Line points out that the early casting breakdown for the part called for a Japanese actor, but clearly that has changed with Dourif's casting.    Read More... http://tv.ign.com/articles/115/1159806p1.html?RSSwhen2011-04-05_112800&RSSid=1159806&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Ftv+%28IGN+TV%29&utm_content=Google+Reader

Fringe's Future: Walternate's Plan, Olivia as Bell, More

On Friday, I posted   Part 1   of my chat with   Fringe   showrunners Jeff Pinkner   and   J.H. Wyman , who I spoke to shortly after the great news came out that the series was renewed for   Season 4 . Where the first part of our conversation was more specifically about the renewal and the factors that go into analyzing TV viewership these days, this second part is more about the show's current storylines. Read on for some hints at what's to come, in the wake of this past Friday's " Bloodline " episode.    Read More... http://tv.ign.com/articles/115/1158208p1.html?RSSwhen2011-03-29_125700&RSSid=1158208&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Ftv+%28IGN+TV%29
