‘Grimm': 25 Things to Know from the Set of Season 5

Grimm is the little show that could, as it has weathered a Friday night time slot that would normally signal that it was being dumped by the network. Instead the show has built a steady fanbase and is about to celebrate one of the biggest anniversaries a television show can have: 100 episodes, which generally signals that the show will be packaged for syndication. In Grimm’s case, the show is already airing in reruns on TNT, but the main cast, all of whom we got to talk to, were gathered for a cake cutting ceremony with one special guest that was unexpected: Bitsie Tulloch. What's Grimm Without Juliette? Awesome

Ding-dong! The Hexenbiest is dead! As we return to Grimm for its fifth season on Friday (9/8c, NBC), it is with the delightful knowledge that Juliette is well and truly dead . Nothing against Bitsie Tulloch , the lovely actress who played Juliette, but she was a problematic and often annoying character ...   Read More...   http://www.tvguide.com/news/grimm-season-5-premiere/?rss=breakingnews

The Most Important Shows on TV: Week of October 26, 2015

Which TV series will your friends (and the entire internet) be talking about this week? Stay informed—or at least be able to fake it—with SideReel's weekly guide to The Most Important Shows on TV.   Supergirl (Series Premiere) Monday at 8:30pm on CBS Why: A generically attractive Glee alumna stars as Superman's cousin! She's also a superperson (as the show's name would imply), but instead of working as a lowly newspaper reporter (so last century), she works as an assistant to the head of a media conglomerate. Anyway, she's totally modern and cool and she probably owns a copy of Lean In because she wants to have it ALL: a career, a love life, AND super powers. Prepare to talk about: Why the superpeople of Krypton feel the need to come to Earth all the time and then hide their powers when they could live like f**king gods; when the inevitable crossovers with Arrow and The Flash will happen; why the superpeople are still all about the capes when they're purely ornamental.   Grimm (Season Premiere) Friday at 10:00pm on NBC Why: Just look at that picture! Birdwoman! Also, probably the hunting of some evil Wesen creatures ! Nothing can be taken for granted when you're a grimm! Also Adalind is carrying a mini-grimm in her WOMB (grossest word)! Time to end another sentence with a ! Prepare to talk about: What kind of mom Adalind can be to a grimm; how you'd feel if you were a birdperson; whether David Giuntoli (Nick) is the best former Road Rules cast member (the answer is yes).   Ash vs. Evil Dead (Series Premiere) Saturday at 9:00pm on Starz Why: Much like Crossfit, or veganism (or going cable TV-less), if someone is a fan of the Evil Dead series, you will definitely know without having to ask. We have one of those on staff here (her name is Zaz and she is my boss so I can't say anything bad). Anyway, all that being said, it is a great series of movies, and now it's a TV show, and you love TV! Don't worry, it's premium cable, so it'll have all the gore and swearing one could want. Prepare to talk about: How it came to be that a low-budget 1981 horror movie managed to spawn a legion of fans, two sequels, one remake, and a TV spinoff (then again, look at Star Trek ...); how you think you'd react to demonic possession; how "groovy" Bruce Campbell is.     Leah E. Mega Buzz: Grimm's Hexenbaby Will Transform Adalind

Congratulations, it's a, um, we're not sure what to call it When Grimm returns, we'll finally see Adalind ( Claire Coffee ) give birth to her and Nick's ( David Giuntoli ) love child. It's an awkward situation, but Adalind is determined to be a better mother this time around (not hard, since her first ...   Read More...   http://www.tvguide.com/news/mega-buzz-grimm-adalind-hexenbaby/?rss=breakingnews
