Hawaii Five-0 is beefing up Chin Ho's ( Daniel Dae Kim ) presence in Season 4. One upcoming episode will flash back to his first meeting with his late wife, the circumstances surrounding the loss of his badge and his time under the mentorship of McGarrett's father, John. But first, the season kicks off with a pair of episodes that welcome two of Kim's former Lost costars. Henry Ian Cusick (the time-jumping Desmond) guest stars in the Sept. 27 premiere as the villainous Ernesto, who holds the team hostage. Another CBS show is preparing fans to meet the mother. According to the Hawaii Five-0 Twitter feed, veteran actress Melanie Griffith will appear on a Season 4 episode of this CBS hit as Danny's mother. No word yet on just when she'll debut or what brings the character to town, but Griffith is merely the latest impressive name to be added to the show's upcoming guest star list. Nick Jonas, action star? The youngest of the Jonas Brothers trio is making a return to television with a guest role on Hawaii Five-0, CBS has announced. According to the release, Nick will appear in an upcoming episode as a computer hacker whose motives complicate the case at hand. Prior to booking this new guest-star gig, Nick has been spending quite a bit of time on Broadway as the lead in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' as well as appearing on shows like Last Man Standing and Smash. The last time actor Henry Ian Cusick was in Hawaii, he was starring on the ABC juggernaut series ‘Lost’. Now, he is returning to the islands to make a major guest appearance on the CBS remake Hawaii Five-0. According to a report at TV Line, Cusick will play a character named Ernesto, a "tough, fearless and ruthless member of a terrorist group called the National Liberation Movement".
