Hell’s Kitchen Finale Recap – Ryan Wins: Season 16 Episode 16 “Leaving It on the Line”

Hell’s Kitchen’s season 16 episode 16 begins tonight with Heather and Ryan in the finale. Chef Ramsay tells them to enjoy the moment for being the final two, and may the best woman win. With 36 hours to go for the final dinner service, Sous Chef Andi and Aaron deliver breakfast to the dorm. Aaron works with Ryan while Andi works with Heather for their menus. Chef Andi tells them Chef Gordon Ramsay is treating them to a make-over, new outfits and then taking them to a musical; they have 15-minutes to get ready. Ramsay arrives, saying they both look incredibly beautiful, they get into the limo as he asks if they have ever been to a musical. They are brought in backstage to meet Rob Morrow, Actor from Northern Exposure and Numb3rs. Gordon knocks on the dressing room door which lifts the walls and they are on the stage themselves. He reveals they are not here to see the show, they ARE the show. They are given one hour to create 4 stunning dishes: 1 appetizer and 3 entrees (Fish, Beef and Chicken). Hell’s Kitchen Recap 1/26/17: Season 16 Episode 15 “Tequila Shots?”

Tonight Hell’s Kitchen begins with only Ryan, Heather and Heidi remaining. Chef Ramsay informs the women that they need to get started right away on their next challenge. The dining room is going to be filled with an esteem group of judges and they are to all create their own table side dish for each one of them. Instead of getting any rest he sends them all to the grocery store to buy whatever they need to create that special dish. The next morning, Chef Ramsay tells them to use their time wisely and they will be judged by every guest and once they have tried all the dishes, they will vote. The women are in awe of all the chef coats entering the dining room including Steve Samson, Chef and Owner of Sotto. Mette Williams Executive Chef of Culina. Alessio Biangini, Chef Du Cuisine of Cecconi’s. Bruce Kalman, Executive Chef and Owner of Union. Things are going smoothly but when they shift to the last table, Heather makes the huge mistake of double-dipping her spoon right in front of Bruce Kalman and his table; Bruce called her out on it. Hell’s Kitchen Recap 1/19/17: Season 16 Episode 14 “Playing Your Cards Right”

Hell’s Kitchen begins tonight with Paulie expressing his anger that Andrew was sent hope. He had a profanity-laced message about Kimberly while Heidi trying to calm his anger. Chef Gordon Ramsay invites the remaining 5 chefs to his poker table. Ryan brags of her card shark abilities. Chef deals the cards to show chicken, potatoes, and smoked bacon which must be used in each contestant’s dish. They must then hit their buzzer to get three more ingredients for their dishes. Ryan and Paulie lag behind the other contestants in get their meals complete. With 30 minutes on the clock the cooking begins. Tensions are high in the kitchen and both Ryan and Kimberly comment on their desire to win. Guest judge Jenn Louis and Chef will decide if they like the dish and that contestant will take a seat in the leader’s chair. As each dish is sampled the contestant with the better tasting dish will sit in the chair. The contestant in the chair at the end of the challenge will be declared the winner. READ MORE...

Hell’s Kitchen Recap 1/12/17: Season 16 Episode 13 “Black Jacket Lounge”

Hell’s Kitchen begins tonight with Chef Gordon Ramsay informing the remaining 6 chefs he is turning things up. Andrew and Heather are acting like they are totally in love; Ryan is enjoying making fun of them being all mushy. The following morning the chefs arrive in the dining room where Chef announces he will be awarding black jackets. He shows them the black jackets to inspire them. He brings in their families to remind them who they are playing for; everyone shares an emotional reunion and Chef Ramsay tells them to enjoy their time with their loved ones. After they say their goodbyes, Ramsay informs them he has designed 3 unique challenges and there will be 2 winners in the first challenge and both of those chefs will receive their black jacket; same for the second round. Hell’s Kitchen Recap 1/5/17: Season 16 Episode 11 and 12

Hell’s Kitchen begins tonight with Chef Gordon Ramsay summoning the red and blue teams to the dining room, where they see a Brett and Rachel doing a trapeze act. Chef Ramsay tells them he expects them to do – TRUST! Today’s challenge will be putting their trust in each other to the test. They will be separated into pairs and each pair needs to recreate one of his signature dishes and their responsibilities will be divided; one will be tasting the ingredients and the other has to make it with the ingredients they say. They have to trust one another and the pair that recreates his dish the closest will win the challenge for their team. Paulie mumbles to Ryan that he wants her to be his partner and Chef Ramsay asks him to say what he was mumbling. Paulie tells the camera that he wants Ryan because Wendy doesn’t know how to cook. On the blue team, Ryan prefers to work with Wendy because she has a great palate and Devin says he wants to work with Paulie. On the red team, Andrew is acting cocky and Kimberly decides she wants to work with Heidi and Andrew has to work with Heather. Chef Ramsay laughs and says it looks like Paulie got dumped by Ryan.
