'Hell's Kitchen' Season 8: The Final Four

We're down to the final four in Hell's Kitchen and it's been a long, badly-fought war. We lost Sabrina, aka Baby Spice and her feisty, kitten with a whip attitude. We lost Raj, the crazy kitchen ninja and Boris whose cooking was Bad-enough to get him sent home early. And then there was Antonia who collapsed on the first episode and has dropped off the radar.  Yes, it's been a long season plagued with multiple double episodes, weeks of preemption and enough ruined scallops to make them an endangered species. But now it's time to take a closer look at the final four to see who, if any of them, deserves to be the head chef at LA Market.  To Read More  Click Here.

'Human Target' bows on Fox; CBS' lineup continues to kill

Human Target returned to Fox on Wednesday but it wasn’t the best homecoming: The drama earned a 1.8 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 and 6.6 million viewers. Still, it was up against some pretty hefty competition from Survivor so may take a while for folks to remember that Mark Valley is still very easy on the eyes. (Either that or folks just don’t care about this comic book-inspired drama). We’ll see how it goes. With Hell’s Kitchen remaining flat versus last week’s two-hour airing (2.6/7, 5.8 million), Fox finished the night in third place in the key adult demo (2.2/6). Each 18-49 ratings point equals 1.3 million viewers. CBS was first with a 3.0/9, with Survivor winning its timeslot with a 3.5/10 and 11.9 million viewers. Gee, that move from Thursdays to Wednesdays has sure worked out well for Jeff Probst and Co.!  Criminal Minds earned a  3.7/10 and 14.2 million (it never fails to shock us at EW that so many of you like the nasty and gritty violence on this drama) while The Defenders earned a 1.9/6 and 9.3 million. TV ratings: CMA Awards dominate Wednesday

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 The CMA Awards were off slightly from their ratings last year, but they still gave ABC a big win on Wednesday night. The awards averaged 16.45 million viewers and a 9.8 rating/16 share in households for ABC, down a little from last year's audience but still way ahead of all the other networks. CBS (10.7 million, 6.4/11) came in second. NBC scored 6.4 million viewers and a 4.2/7 to finish a little ahead of FOX (5.7 million, 3.3/5). The CW brought in 2.3 million viewers and a 1.4/2. ABC also ruled the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.7 rating. CBS and FOX tied for second at 2.7. NBC, 1.6, finished fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.1. To Read More  Click Here.

Should Season 8 be the Last Season of 'Hell's Kitchen?'

When you have a Band-Aid stuck to your skin, they say the best way to deal with the pain of removal is to rip it off quickly. Do you think that's what Fox had in mind when they scheduled this season of Hell's Kitchen? We're only two weeks in and already we've lost five contestants. Next week is another two hour shows so at this rate, we'll know the winner by Halloween! I'm not complaining about the fact that Hell's Kitchen is running back-to-back episode each week, as this season simply isn't working. Maybe it's the fact that we've seen this all before. The salmon is raw, Ramsay screams and smashes it. The risotto is too salty, into the trash! More moaning, more eye rolling -- we might have believed it at first but now we know it's just an act.
