HGTV Showdown is an HGTV home improvement game show that pits two teams of home designers against each other in an all-out battle to see who can transform an ordinary room into a work of art. In each episode, a couple in need of a change in scenery are brought to the show, where one room from their home has been recreated in two replica rooms. Then, the couple meets with the two teams of designers and explains their interests and hopes for the new space. Then, the two teams renovate the room, and at the end the couple chooses a winner based on which room they'd rather live in The teams have four hours to complete the rooms, with access to the Dream Design Center where they'll find all the tools and equipment they could possibly need to create a world-class living space. HGTV Showdown is a fun, competitive series featuring top designers racing to out-design each other.
