Jack Jessee may be one of the respected veterans of " Ice Road Truckers " (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on History), but is all of his success and accolades from his peer going to his head, as some viewers seem to think. Huliq said, "This year ... Jessee has been as arrogant as anyone who has ever been on 'IRT.'" His ego certainly took a hit after a skid on the icy roads. Jessee's expertise helped him regain control, but he may be finding himself getting overshadowed by a young upstart. Austin is younger and more ambitious, which is both good and bad. But rather than offer him guidance, Jessee has simply dismissed him. Austin seems to be doing alright for himself, this week scoring the biggest load of the season. Meanwhile, after arriving safely with that load, Jessee wasn't given another load for the next day at all. It was all too much for him, and he took it personally and declared he was out for good. See if he truly is through when "Ice Road Truckers" continues Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on History. While it's the icy conditions that keep the drivers on the edge of their seats -- as well as the viewers of " Ice Road Truckers " (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on History) -- it was an accident of a more mundane variety that had them holding their breath in this week's episode. While it was still triggered by the icy conditions, there are no road conditions in which a 4,000 pound vehicle colliding with a 16-ton big rig is anything other than terrifying. "I think everybody reacted like it was their own brother or sister," one of the drivers said. "We take care of our people up here." When sharing such a treacherous vocation, it's understandable that these people come together like family. Trust in the expertise of the fellow drivers on the road is tantamount to success when one mistake can cost lives. The tension rises every week on "Ice Road Truckers", Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on History. One of the many perks of 3D technology is being able to truly convey the experience of grizzled semi-truck drivers as they bravely cover 350 miles of ice-covered terrain. While the validity of the previous statement is up for debate, the fact that 20th Century Fox and director John Moore (Max Payne) are currently thinking along similar lines is not. Today, Deadline is reporting that the man who helmed a less than impressive video game adaptation and the studio who brought the world X-Men Origins: Wolverine (I'm still waiting to wake up and realize it was all a bad dream or that the otherwise great Hugh Jackman was actually dead the whole time) are in talks to create a 3D film based on The History Channel's highly successful, albeit not completely historic, program Ice Road Truckers.
