Rensho Sorinozuka tags along with Ririchiyo and Soshi at a shopping mall till evening. Soshi tells Ririchiyo that they have meet each other in the past, but she does not recall of this. As the three return to the complex, they learn from Nobara Yukinokoji that Karuta Roromiya has gone missing. As they set out to find her, Ririchiyo finds herself trapped inside a dark spirit called a nurikabe. With much effort, Soshi and Ririchiyo slash through the barrier using their enhanced abilities. It turns out that Karuta had left earlier to help prepare a welcome party for Ririchiyo and Soshi.
