Ja'mie: Private School Girl Reviews & Ratings

30 minutes

Ja'mie: Private School Girl follows the eponymous school captain during the last few months of her final year of school, far removed from the grounds of Summer Heights High and back on the lush manicured lawns of Hillford Girls Grammar School. Returning to her private school roots, the series highlights the trials and responsibilities that come with being the “most well-known” girl on campus, including her academic and charity work, social life and relationships with family.

This hilarious follow up series to Summer Heights High features Chris Lilley as Ja'mie, a spoiled rich girl in private school. Satirical, absurdist, and absolutely hysterical, Lilley shines in this series. The show is quite funny, but is best seen in small doses. Binge watchers will notice, that after a while the show gets a bit repetitive.

Almost as good as Summer Heights High, but we all know nothing can really compare. Ja'mie is the same hilarious and bitchy character that we grew to love and this time it is all about her.

Chris Lilley absolutely smashes it out of the park.

After less than a minute you forget you're watching a forty plus year old man playing a teenage girl, you just think Ja'mie is the absolute worst.
