There's just no stopping Jon and Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin from coming back to television. This week, she's apparently getting another shot at co-hosting The View, just like before. Us Magazine reports that the reality TV mom will be making her appearance on the talk show on July 2. She won't be talking about her ex-husband Jon Gosselin though, like she did in the past. This time, it's all about her being a single mom spending summer with the kids. Kate Gosselin is planning to share her thoughts on tanning without the sun and summer foods. And since Independence Day is coming up, the women of The View will also be discussing red, white and blue outfits with the star. The Jon and Kate Plus 8 mom was last seen on the show in 2009, as she filled in for regular host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who had her maternity leave at the time. A spokeswoman for TLC confirmed an online report that Pennsylvania labor officials approved TLC's request to film Kate and Jon Gosselin's eight kids for the upcoming Kate Plus 8 specials. An official for the state Department of Labor and Industry said the right paperwork was submitted and 'the proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for 'Kate Plus 8.'' The children are not expected to participate in Twist of Kate, a new TLC series debuting this summer in which the mother of eight will travel the country to meet families with challenges at work or at home and attempt to 'walk a mile in their shoes.'
