Corey Stoll has snagged the role of Skeet Ulrich's on-screen detective partner in Law & Order: Los Angeles, a show rep says. The Salt actor will play Detective Tomas "TJ" Jaruszalski, the partner of Rex Winters (Ulrich). TJ is described as a confident Los Angeles native with a disdain for the entertainment industry and an active social life, according to casting breakdowns. It's clear that the newest Law and Order series set in Los Angeles is trying to attract as many cult TV and sci-fi fans as possible. First the show got Jericho's Skeet Ulrich to star. Then it added Alfred Molina, aka Dr. Octopus from Spider-Man 2. Now Supernatural star Jim Beaver has been signed to guest star in the series premiere. Veteran actor Alfred Molina has signed on to join the cast of the upcoming series LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES. Law & Order creator and producer Dick Wolf announced the deal in a statement praising the addition of Molina to the cast. The newest Law & Order procedural series is set on the left coast in Los Angeles and Molina has been tapped to play D.A. Morales in the series. He joins a list of actors that include Sam Waterston, Vincent DâOnofrio, Jeff Goldblum, Steven Hill, Dianne Wiest, and Michael Moriarty as actors who have played major roles across the âLaw & Orderâ brand. Molina is the second major role on the series to be filled after Skeet Ulrich signed on to the spinoff project earlier this month. NBC has canceled Law & Order , it announced Friday, putting the seminal Dick Wolf procedural one season shy of becoming the longest-running drama series in TV history. In addition, the network ordered a new spin-off, Law & Order: Los Angeles, and renewed Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . Law & Order will air its 20th-season and series finale Monday, May 24 at 10/9c.
